Surf’s Up Family Overnight Camp!
Come have family fun and learn the fundamentals of surfing from our friends at YMCA Camp Surf. Our “overnight” camp is a 3-day adventure. There will be “camp activities” including crafts, rock climbing, beach games and surfing. For the surfing, there is a small student-to-instructor ratio, participants (with the help of instructors and supports…including family members) will build confidence and surfing skills in a safe and supportive environment. This is a sleep-over camp and at least one adult must stay with each special needs participant. Everyone will stay in cabins in “bunk beds” and some meals are included. (Cabins sleep 16 so families will be housed together)
Note: Parent/Guardian required to accompany registered participant.
Date: August 15-17, 2025 (Friday to Sunday)
Location: YMCA Camp Surf at 560 Silver Strand Blvd, Imperial Beach, CA 91932
Time: Check-in – 4:00pm Friday, August 15, Check-out – 1:00pm Sunday, August 17
Registration Fee: $600 ($350 for participant and $250 for guardian/parent). If other family members would like to join in on the fun… additional campers are $250 each.
